Laura Hundt
Speech Pathologist
Laura Hundt, MSpPath (Master of Speech Pathology), CPSP, is passionate about working with children and adolescents to improve their ability to communicate. Laura completed a Master’s Degree in Speech and Language Pathology at The University of Sydney, and has experience delivering evidence-based therapy in a range of settings, including private practice, disability services, community, hospital and school settings. Laura has particular clinical interest in the areas of language, literacy, speech sound disorders, stuttering and social communication.
Using a strengths-based, family-centred approach, Laura enjoys working closely with families to empower them with knowledge to support their child’s communication and to help achieve their child’s goals. Laura is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for young people, celebrating each person’s strengths and uniqueness with a neuro-affirming approach. Outside of work, Laura enjoys cooking, music, sailing and running around after her little ones!

Imogen Smith
Speech Pathologist
Imogen Smith, BSpPath, MSPA, is a compassionate and motivated speech pathologist who is dedicated to helping children and their families build confidence in communication and achieve meaningful, real-word outcomes.
She completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Australian Catholic University and has gained experience in school and hospital settings. Imogen has developed her skills in assessment, evidence-based intervention, and clinical reasoning across speech, language, and literacy. She especially enjoys working with children and values building warm, trusting relationships with both her clients and their families. She takes a family-centred and holistic approach, supporting parents and caregivers with practical strategies to help communication skills carry over into everyday life.
Imogen is committed to ongoing professional development and strives to create fun, engaging therapy sessions where children feel confident, supported and motivated to communicate.

Charlie Cook
Speech Pathologist
Charlie Cook, MSpPath (Master of Speech Pathology), is passionate about delivering high quality, evidence-based therapy to children and adolescents to understand others and to feel understood in everyday life. She supports children and young people across language development, speech sound disorders, early literacy foundations, social communication, and functional communication for everyday participation. Charlie has had experience in remote Australian settings, community and private practices, schools and hospital contexts, which has strengthened her ability to tailor support to different environments and individual needs. She is particularly passionate about engaging, strengths based therapy that empowers children and young people with the tools to communicate in their own way, build meaningful connections, and advocate for themselves.
With an earlier background in Psychological Science and experience as a Senior Family Case Worker, Charlie brings a warm, family centred approach and a strong understanding of how communication, wellbeing, and behaviour can interact. She enjoys working collaboratively with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams, with a strong interest in early intervention, to create practical supports that carry over beyond the therapy room and make a lasting difference over time.

Bernadette Frewen
Speech Pathologist
Bernadette Frewen, BSpPath (Bachelor of Speech Pathology), MSPA, CPSP, is passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based therapy to children and adolescents aged 9 months to 18 years. She has extensive experience working across various areas, including language, speech sound disorders, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), fluency, literacy, social communication, and feeding skills. Her particular interest areas lie in literacy, early intervention, feeding skills and speech sound disorders.
Throughout her career, Bernadette has worked with diverse clinical populations, including children with Global Developmental Delay, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, and genetic differences. She is committed to empowering her clients with the skills and support they need to communicate effectively and participate fully in everyday life. Bernadette strongly values a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients and enjoys working closely with parents, carers, educators, and other health professionals.
Beyond her clinical work, Bernadette has a keen interest in supervision and training, having mentored university students, allied health assistants, and early-career speech pathologists. She is dedicated to ongoing professional development and contributing to the advancement of the speech pathology profession.

Jasmine Fung
Speech Pathologist
Jasmine Fung, M.SpPath, B.Arts, MSPA, CPSP is a Speech Language Pathologist who holds a Bachelor degree in Linguistics and Psychology from the University of New South Wales, and a Master degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Sydney. Jasmine has a passion for working with individuals with communication difficulties, using a family- centred approach and collaborating on goals that are functional and specific to their everyday lives, and delivering the most recent and evidence-based therapy in a neuro-affirming approach.
Jasmine has had experience working with preschool and school- aged children with language, speech and communication needs in a range of clinical settings. She is dedicated to providing a supportive and safe learning environment to individuals to achieve their full potential, and more importantly to enjoy and have fun in therapy.
Jasmine has received training in Sounds- Write, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), Rapid Syllable Transition Treatment (ReST), Rebecca Reinking’s speech sound training, Laura Mize’s early intervention and gestalt language processing. In Jasmine’s spare time, she enjoys going on coastal walks, dining in cafes, catching up with friends, watching movies and spending time with her cats.

Lydia Cole
Speech Pathologist
Lydia Cole BA(Hons) PgDip Speech & Language, CPSP is an experienced Speech Pathologist who has worked for several years in London and Sydney in both the private and public sector. Lydia’s clinical experience includes working with preschool and school aged children with a range of speech, language and communication needs in a variety of settings. She has gained valuable experience working collaboratively with teachers, parents, educational psychologists and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to working with children and their families. Lydia has an interest in Developmental Language Disorder and speech disorders. Lydia is trained in Key Word Sign (KWS), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Sounds Write, and Shape Coding. Lydia works on Thursday in schools.

Kathren Lemmetty
Speech Pathologist
Kathren Lemmetty, B.App.Sc (Speech Pathology), CPSP. Kathren completed her Speech Pathology Degree at Sydney University and has been working with a diverse range of families for over 20 years in private practice in Sydney’s West, QLD’s Gold Coast and now Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Kathren is committed to helping clients and strives to make a difference in their lives from initial assessment to providing evidence-based intervention. Kathren’s areas of interest include speech, language, fluency and literacy. Kathren is knowledgeable in the use of the Hanen Program “It takes Two to Talk”, a program designed specifically for parents of young children (0-5years) where parents are taught practical strategies to help their children learn language naturally throughout the day. She is trained in the Lidcombe Program, a behavioural program for young children who stutter. Kathren is a Spalding trained literacy instructor, teaching children to read, write and spell integrating explicit, sequential, systematic and multi-sensory teaching of phonics and spelling rules. Kathren is passionate about addressing the unique needs of children by providing parents with the tools, strategies and support they need to help their children reach their full communication potential. Kathren enjoys liaising with parents and teachers regarding progress of therapy and ideas for the classroom and provides recommendations for therapy in the writing of comprehensive assessment and progress reports for GP’s, paediatricians and schools.
Kathren is a mum to two teenage boys and spends her free time shopping, cooking and cleaning and is a committed soccer mum!

Farran De Wet
Speech Pathologist
Farran De Wet, B. Arts Speech Language and Hearing therapy, CPSP Senior Clinical Speech Pathologist. Farran received her qualifications from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa just over 20 years ago. Over the course of her career, Farran has accumulated a wealth of experience working with families and clients of diverse backgrounds and age groups in South Africa, New Zealand and Qatar before moving to Sydney in 2016 with her family. Farran has undergone specialised training in various areas such as Sounds-Write (Years K-2 and Years 3-6), Hanen (It takes two to talk and Target word), Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing, Rapid Syllable Transition Treatment and the Kaufman Speech to Language protocol. Farran has also trained in Oro-facial myofunctional therapy. This reflects her commitment to staying updated with the latest research and techniques in the field. As a Senior Clinical Speech Pathologist Farran not only provides direct clinical services but is also passionate about mentoring and training the next generation of speech pathologists.

Heidi Cornwell
Speech Therapist / Director
Heidi Cornwell, B.App.Sc (Speech Pathology), CPSP, Clinic Director, has been working as a Speech Pathologist within the Northern Beaches for a number of years. Heidi has experience in early intervention for children with speech and language delay, with a special interest in the area of Childhood Apraxia of speech (Dyspraxia). Heidi has worked closely with preschools and schools in the area to provide support for educators working with children with communication difficulties. She is trained in Lidcombe Program for stuttering, PROMPT, Sounds-Write, Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), and many more. Ruby is part of our admin team. She is responsible for scheduling appointments, managing files and coordinating with clients and clinicians. She is currently completing her honours year in psychology and has a keen interest in clinical and developmental psychology and has a passion for working with people. Outside of work Ruby enjoys spending time outdoors, playing sports and spending time with friends and family.

Admin
Camila is part of our Talk-Time admin team. With years of admin experience, she’s responsible for managing appointments, coordinating with therapists, handling client inquiries and ensuring a smooth experience for families. Camila is also currently studying a Bachelor of Social Science, driven by her passion for helping others, she loves making a difference and connecting with people, whether it’s through her work or in her personal life. Outside of work, Camila loves expressing herself through art, travelling, and spending weekends with family and friends. Fun fact: she can speak Spanish!
