Lucy is a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist committed to providing person-centred and tailored intervention to support each client’s unique speech and language development journey. She holds both her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Speech Pathology from Macquarie University. Lucy believes that prioritizing client engagement within therapy sessions is paramount to achieving long-term success and fostering continual gains. She is an empathetic listener who strives to create a supportive and encouraging therapeutic environment.
Lucy brings extensive experience working with children to her practice. Her background includes tutoring for the Australian Girls Choir (AGC), providing academic tutoring, and working as a Care Support worker for children and young people with complex healthcare and communication needs. These experiences have provided her with valuable insights into the diverse needs of children and have honed her ability to connect with individuals of all ages.
Outside of her professional life, Lucy is passionate about music, particularly singing and voice. She has performed with numerous professional choirs and has pursued extensive vocal training throughout her life. This passion informs her approach to therapy, allowing her to incorporate creativity and a deep understanding of communication into her work with clients.
