NDIS

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a funding scheme that has been established by the government, to provide funding for intervention services for children who have been diagnosed with a disability or developmental delay.

Talk-Time Speech Pathology is a registered NDIS service provider. Your child must first be assessed and eligible for the funding.

Medicare – Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan

The Chronic Disease Management (CDM or sometimes known as EPC) plan through Medicare provides rebates for allied health services to people who have a chronic medical condition. This plan is given through a referral from your GP. A chronic medical condition is considered a condition that has been or will be present for at least six months.

The CDM provides up to 5 rebated sessions of $52.95 per session per calendar year in total between all the allied health services.

Please talk with your GP to see if your child is eligible for a CDM plan. CDM plans can only be used for therapy sessions NOT FOR ASSESSMENT SESSIONS.

Health Fund Information

Talk-Time Speech Pathology can be claimed under your private health fund, depending on your coverage. We have a HiCAPS machine in the clinic where payments can be claimed on the spot and you just pay the gap.
